Chicken Pista

Ingredients:

  • Boneless Chicken 400 gms.
  • Onions chopped 1 cup.
  • Tomato chopped 1 no.
  • Curd 1cup
  • Green chili chopped 4-6 nos.
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp.
  • Lemon juice 1 tsp.
  • Turmeric powder (haldi) ½ tsp.
  • Cumin seed powder 1 tsp.
  • Ginger paste 1 tbsp.
  • Garlic paste 1 tbsp.
  • Aniseed (saunf ) ½ tsp.
  • Coriander chopped 1 tbsp.
  • White pepper powder ½ tsp.
  • Garam Masala Powder 1 tsp.
  • Whole Garam Masala ½ tbsp.
  • Pistachios (pista) ½ cup
  • Oil To fry
  • Salt As per taste
Preparation:

1. Clean the chicken and marinate it with Curd/Yogurt, Ginger Paste, Garlic Paste
,lemon juice, salt and mix well.
2. Put pista in warm water and peel it.
4. Grind the pista, green chili and coriander and make a fine paste.
FOR GRAVY:
1. Heat oil. Add Whole Garam Masala and chopped onion .Sauté a little.
2. Now add haldi, saunf and pista paste. Mix the marinated chicken to the gravy.
When it comes to a boil add a little white pepper powder, Garam Masala Powder
and a little water.
3. Cover the pan and cook it for 10 minutes. Now sprinkle some coriander
leaves and add tomatoes and fresh cream . Cook again for five minutes.
4.Serve hot.
